You’re safe now.” The way he picks her up and calms her down had me soft for a second. But then he turns on the family and goes full lethal: “Listen you fucking idiot. If you lay a hand on my daughter again… You touch my daughter or my wife again, I will put you in the ground.” Steven and the rest of them looked shook as hell. The switch from gentle dad to death merchant threat is so satisfying after all the abuse. Low-budget but that protective energy hit different. I’m grinning like an idiot.
